About Vision Development

Vision Development, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Brent Wrightsel. The company focus is on site acquisition, rezoning, subdividing, master planning of sites, residential land development and construction.

Company Leadership

Brent Wrightsel, President

Mr. Wrightsel is the founder of Vision Development, Inc. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, OH. In addition to his education, Mr. Wrightsel draws upon his experience as a manager for the Calibre Corporation and as a sales manager for Edwards Industries for the skills he uses on a daily basis. He has experience in construction management, demonstrated by the completion of many large-scale apartment projects. Mr. Wrightsel also has experience with branch operations management, sales staff development and supervision, vendor sourcing and purchasing, real estate law, fiscal operations, product sales and customer service. He exemplifies skills for completing projects on schedule and within budget, as well as being responsible for negotiating contracts with builders, vendors, subcontractors and municipalities.

 

Tom Garber, Site Manager

Mr. Garber has been the Site Manager at Vision Development since 2006. He brings with him a wealth of experience having spent more than 20 years in the construction industry. Along with this experience, he has extensive knowledge of construction methods, cost analysis, and safety procedures. Mr. Garber's role at Vision Development is to oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time and within the allotted budget. He draws on his skills in project management and site supervision to manage field construction and personnel for each of Vision Development's ventures. Along with many other contributions to the company, Mr. Garber has implemented improved construction methods and site logistics to achieve greater productivity, and refined the quality control process to increase efficiency.

 

Richard J. Conie, Land Development Manager

Mr. Conie is the president of The Richard J. Conie Company. Established in 1987, the company has developed over 5,000 single family and condominium lots, as well as commercial and Governmental Capital Improvement projects in the Central Ohio area. He has earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and has vast experience in the field of land development. His experience includes land acquisition, zoning and permit approvals, coordination of engineering and plan approval process, plan bidding and contract assignment, personalized construction site management, final construction and site acceptance by all governmental agencies, and maintenance period and erosion control services. Barbara Wrightsel, Office Manager / Interior Designer

Barbara Wrightsel has been with Vision Development since it's inception in 1994. Ms. Wrightsel, as office manager, oversees vendor sourcing and purchasing, negotiating contracts with utilities, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
